Background
Layla was forced into responsibility at a very young age when her parents were in a car accident when she was ten years old. Her father was killed and her mother was paralyzed, which meant that it was up to Layla and the family's housekeeper to take care of things. She's an incredibly creative person, something she inherited from her father, who was a newspaper cartoonist. However, her creativity is more in the subjects of music and photography. Layla is a terribly anxious person and she is very easily frightened. Along with that, she can be very negative and often jumps to the worst conclusions possible in each situation. For example, she hates going to hospitals because she's afraid she's going to contract a deathly illness. She's capable of being positive, though, usually when it comes to other people's problems, instead of her own.

Friends
It usually takes Layla awhile to warm up to people, but once she has, she will attach herself to that person. She holds her friends very dear to her heart and would do pretty much anything for them. Layla wouldn't be too picky about who she chooses as friends, as long as she knows that they will treat her well.

I have a feeling Layla will have plenty of these. She has been bullied in the past and I can definitely see her falling into that experience again. It's possibly that she could get on many people's nerves because of her fears and anxieties.

Lovers
Layla may have had one or two boyfriends in the past, but she still isn't too experienced with relationships. He would probably have to be pretty persistent with her, though!

Background
Vincent has already had a bit of a hard life. It was his birth that caused his mother to slip into a deep depression that the family was too poor to really get any treatment for. It eventually led to her suicide, which is something his father and oldest brother constantly blame him for. After his mother was gone, his father became an abusive alcoholic. Vincent made sure that he was the main victim of the abuse because he didn't want his brothers (of which he has three) to be harmed. A little part of him believes that he deserves the abuse. With everything that has happened, his self-esteem is extremely low and he can be rather negative. He'll usually put other people before himself and offer his help whenever he can. 

Friends
I expect Vincent will have quite a few friends, since, while he's not overly friendly, he is a very caring person. He isn't one to often engage in social interaction, though.

I really don't see Vincent having too many enemies, unless he gets on someone's nerves, which is entirely possible.

Anyone interested would definitely have to get past Vincent's walls that he has built up. He's very guarded and doesn't open up easily.

Layla&Rach-
Oh my Layla is adorable Rillly! Okay so I'm been trying to come up with plots and since you are at your birthday dinner this was the perfect time! I'm not quite sure how Layla and Vincent met but I'm guessing maybe similar music courses? Correct me if I'm wrong. She's also a photography major and possibly met Sterling that way? Either way they of course need to be friends. We just need to work out the logistics.

Vincent&Rach- So I'm guessing that Rach knew Addison and were next door neighbors to Vincent in the dorms? Made the most sense to me. After that Rach probably took her guitar to him often to have him re-string it and maybe small jam sessions? Rach is by no means an expert at guitar but she would lend an ear. She does play a mean keytair though

Sterling&Layla- So like I said above I'm guessing they met in a Photography class or maybe they were on the same floor of the dorms freshmen year? I'm sure by now as Juniors they are decent friends. I find it hilarious because she's scared of everything and he watches thee scariest tv shows and takes pictures of dead guys xD This friendship is probably a little strained but he tries to help her reason with the anxieties?

Sterling&Vincent-Strangest bromance known to man. So I'm guessing we stick to the met because of Addison&Rach and Sterling just ended up plucking the little negative guy out of the dirt and brushed off his shoulder. Now they are roommates sooo I'm guessing they love each other but also constantly butt heads because they are polar opposites in a lot of ways but at the end of the day they know they can always lean on each other.

Layla and Vincent have known each other for quite awhile, but they just became friends when they were in music classes together at college, so yes. xD Layla and Rach are both pretty nerdy, so maybe they're in some sort of nerdy club together?

I like this! Maybe Rach is one of the people that tries to support his playing, even though he thinks he's really bad at it?

Layla and Sterling
Yes! Maybe they were put together as partners in their first photography class and they just continued being partners and grew to become friends that way? And I like the idea of Sterling trying to reason with her. xD It would probably rarely work.

Vincent and Sterling
Yees, it's a bit of a love/hate relationship - as exemplified in the current thread. xD Oh, boy, we're going to have fun with these two. I'm not too sure if Vincent would have opened up to him about his home life - would Sterling have told Vincent about his problems?

i could see my sethy getting along well with layla. he's pretty sensitive when it comes to people and their anxieties and such, so maybe he could be a shoulder to lean on. he thinks red heads are cute, too. maybe a one sided crush for right now?

pers would definitely find layla to be annoying with all of her fears and anxieties. she is the perfect bully. so i'm thinking enemies. bwaha!

i know seth doesn't really get along with sterling, so maybe the same could be said for vincent since they're best friends?

Awwww, this will be so cute! She'll really appreciate the fact that he's patient and sensitive about her anxieties because most people aren't. xD I saw on his app that he's a photography minor? Maybe they met through that? She would be completely oblivious to the fact that he has a crush on her, though! xD For now, at least. I feel like this will be a bit of an interesting relationship because it seems like they would dislike each other because Seth doesn't like Sterling. xD If it weren't for Sterling, I think these two might actually get along.

Aww, Vincent would really appreciate her not pushing him about stuff. Hmm...I read over her app and I can kind of see them bonding over their love of history. Maybe they have study sessions together or something? Would they have met through Sterling?

- Lila would probably have walked right up to Layla and said something along the lines of "Oh my God, I love your hair!" Then start babbling about how she never had the courage to do anything drastic to her own, before finally realizing she hadn't even introduced herself. :P Lila would really like Layla; I can just see them getting along well. I can see Lila trying to do a bunch of girly stuff with her, like shopping or getting nails done.

- He's adorable. That would probably have been Lila's first thought about him, honestly. Lila would probably have gone right up to Vincent and introduced herself then try to start a conversation. I think they could end up being pretty good friends! Lila would definitely try to get him to stop being so negative and get him to think more highly of himself. Not sure if Vincent would like that, though. It's up to you how you see their relationship. c:

Layla would probably be a little scared at first, just because of Lila's energy, but she'd definitely be flattered. I love the idea of Lila getting Layla to do some girly things. Maybe Lila tries to get her to do some more social things as well? She needs someone like that, otherwise, she'd just spend all of her time in her apartment. xD

I agree, I can see these two being friends! He probably would just kind of shut down when she tries to get him to think more highly of himself because, at least right now, his mind is made up in that department. xD I think he would know that her heart was in the right place, though, so he'd be patient, unless she got really pushy.

- Honestly, I'd be a little weirded out if someone walked up to me and started talking about hair! :P Lila would definitely get Layla to do some more social things as well, like inviting her to parties (though she isn't a big party animal herself) and just getting her to go places. Though that may also be because Lila doesn't like to do those things herself! :]

- Oh gosh I can imagine them getting in a fight over it and Lila snapping and saying something not so kind ("You want to live your whole life in misery? Fine!") and storming away, only to find him hours later, give him a huge hug, and beg for forgiveness. She'd still try to get him to think more highly of himself, though, perhaps with subtle comments/compliments. She can't stand the thought of someone having constant low self-esteem and negativity. ):
