Layla pursed her lips as she tried to stifle the grin at seeing Seth’s smirk. “Well, of course, it’s not hard for you. You’re always so happy and positive. You make it look so easy,” she said, shaking her head. She huffed out a sigh before shaking her head once again and laughing, more at herself than anything else. “But yeah, yeah, give me a few pointers,” she said, sitting up a bit straighter, preparing herself to listen to Seth’s positivity tips. After pulling up her gaze from her music to look back at Seth’s face, she noticed that he was staring very hard at her. “Um…what?”she asked, watching him carefully and tilting her head to the side.
She scoffed. “Oh yeah, how could I possibly forget with your always reminding me?” she said, laughing slightly before sticking her tongue out at him. Layla sobered slightly, though, when she looked back at her music. “I don’t know…maybe I’ll feel better once I get it under my fingers,” she said, tracing the title of the music with her finger.
“What?” she asked, surprised,”Do you write a lot of love stories or something?” She definitely wouldn’t have pegged him for a romance writer…not that she knew too much about that sort of thing.
She scoffed. “Oh yeah, how could I possibly forget with your always reminding me?” she said, laughing slightly before sticking her tongue out at him.
