hey so in these 375 words my lovely Brittani is wearing this. |
For someone who had been so unsure of herself only a little while ago, Brittani was perfectly content with where she was at the moment. She had already managed to score a job at her favorite chain store -- Newbury Comics -- and no one had tried to put her down. There was a simple question of if that should be a yet or a period, but she refused to dwell on it long. It wasn't worth the time. If something happened, she could deal.
Around one o clock was the busiest time for Panera. Brittani would know, it said so on their wifi page because the service was limited during that block of time. She had used it plenty of times to know the ins and outs of how to mooch without being cut off. So whenever Brit treated herself to a meal out instead of prepackaged, she made it a late lunch/early dinner at three or four. Her useful strategy worked yet again as she walked into the building, two buns bobbing as she moved. She placed her order quickly and found a place to sit, pulling out her phone and logging into tumblr while she waited. The place was fuller than she expected, but she was new to the city and she didn't have much to go on other than her home trips. With another glance, Brittani realized how lucky she was to have found a table in the first place. Did everyone have the same plan as her? Soon enough, her salad and half a panini were ready, so she intended on focusing on eating rather than reblogging and trying to figure out the city folk.
People around her scuttled here and there, and to her right was a clear view out of a large window. Many of the people were obviously students, heading back from a day of classes, grabbing a bite to eat, or getting errands done. Brittani really didn't have much to do today, but she had figured a day out might be a good idea so she could explore a bit. No harm done in getting lost now instead of later when someone was with her and she made a fool of herself.
